Author Guidelines

The Revista de Psihanaliză Relațională publishes studies and articles in the field of relational psychoanalysis, written by trainers, trainees and graduates of psychoanalytic psychotherapy training programmes, as well as by students, psychotherapists and other authors interested in this perspective.

Before submitting a manuscript, please consult our Complete Author Guidelines, including APA 7 requirements and guidance on the use of artificial intelligence.

Submissions should comply with the following essential requirements:

• the manuscript must be uploaded in .docx format;

• the article must not exceed 40,000 characters, including the reference list;

• the first page must include the title, name(s) of the author(s), institutional affiliation and e-mail address;

• the article must include an abstract of no more than 600 characters and at least 5 keywords in Romanian;

• citations and references must follow APA 7 guidelines; bibliographic sources should not be cited in footnotes;

• the reference list should include only works cited, paraphrased or mentioned in the text;

• authors are requested to carefully check the grammatical and stylistic accuracy of the manuscript before submission;

• any relevant use of generative artificial intelligence tools must be transparently disclosed in accordance with the Author Guidelines. Articles must not contain passages generated entirely or predominantly by AI and presented as the author’s own intellectual contribution.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, integrity and originality of the submitted material, including any content developed or modified with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools.

Submissions are evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Revista de Psihanaliză Relațională, with particular consideration given to the quality of theoretical or clinical expression and argumentation, as well as to the originality of the contribution.
